Software Installation & Setup Guide
Before using the equipment for the first time, carefully inspect it for any external damage. Follow these steps to ensure proper installation and setup:
1. Prepare Your PC
Ensure your PC has an RS232 port. If not, use a USB-to-RS232 converter.
2. System Requirements
Compatible with Windows XP, 7, 8, and 10.
3. Software Installation
The software is provided on a CD and included in the package.
If your PC lacks a CD drive, use an external USB-compatible CD drive.
Locate and run SmartRobotEditorSetup.exe to begin installation.
4. Completing Installation
Once installed, a software icon will appear on the desktop.
5. Running the Software
Insert the provided dongle into your PC.
Double-click the software icon to launch the program.
If required by IT settings, administrative permission may be necessary.
6. Initial Setup
Upon opening the software, the first step is to complete the RS232 COM Port Setup for proper communication with the robot.
